Abstract: A device for the treatment of overflow water is provided to operate filtration and backwashing in succession by using an upper side of a rotary drum as a filtration zone and using a lower side of the rotary drum as a backwashing zone for washing filters, and improve quality of treated water by forcibly compressing filtration filters, thereby performing a filtration process in a state that the filtration filters are contracted to the utmost. A device for the treatment of overflow water comprises: a rotary drum(110) having a plurality of separated zones(111) equally divided and formed on a cylindrical circumference thereof, a filtration filter(120) filled in each of the separated zones, and a drain passage(113) formed in the center of a rotary shaft thereof to discharge treated water filtered by the filtration filter; a drum drive part(130) for moving the plurality of separated zones as much as predetermined sections by rotating the rotary drum regularly; a drum cover(140) for surrounding an outer diameter of the rotary drum such that filtration zones(111a) comprised of separated zones(111) of the upper side of the rotary drum are sealed from the outside; influent supply units(150) installed on an outer diameter circumference of the drum cover such that influent is supplied to each of the separated zones of the filtration zones; and a backwashing water supply part(160) for washing a backwashing zone(111b) comprised of separated zones(111) of the lower side of the rotary drum.
