    Abstract: PURPOSE: A fluorine distillation apparatus and a quantitative analyzing method of sodium monofluorophosphate in a toothpaste using thereof are provided to rapidly and accurately quantitative analyzing the sodium monofluorophosphate using a reaction bottle and an absorption device. CONSTITUTION: A fluorine distillation apparatus comprises the following: a reaction bottle(10) for containing samples; an absorption device(20) with opened both ends, combined with the upper side of the reaction bottle; and an absorber(21) located in the inside of the absorption device. A quantitative analyzing method of sodium monofluorophosphate using the fluorine distillation apparatus comprises the following steps: dispersing a toothpaste in a total ion strength adjustment buffer; filtering the toothpaste for removing interfering substances; preparing the fluorine distillation apparatus; inserting centrifuge upper layer liquid of the filtered toothpaste into the reaction bottle, and acid-processing; collecting fluorine ions by combining the absorption device to the reaction bottle; and measuring the concentration of the fluorine ions.
