Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot and a method for executing robot work, avoiding operation stop for executing intended work in case of error occurrence. SOLUTION: Operation instruction means 1a reads out work description information stored in a work description information storage means 2 and instructs a drive part 3 to execute an operation defined in operation instruction information. If the operation is not normally completed, an essential-operation determination means 1b determines whether or not the uncompleted operation is essential for execution of predetermined service. If not essential, an operative state is transited to skipping. The skipping is continued while the operation of an operational unit of an uncompleted operation is continued. A skipping means 1c executes operation of an operative state not executed based on work description information. However, when a target drive part 3 defined in operational instruction information is the same as the type of the drive part 3 whose operation is not completed, the operation is skipped. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise which comes from the same direction as an utterance person. SOLUTION: A selection section compares an input value of each voice which is inputted from a plurality of voice input devices arranged so that directivity angles do not overlap each other, through a voice input section, for each predetermined frequency which each voice has. Then, based on the comparison result, the selection section selects one voice input device from the plurality of voice input devices. A calculation section calculates each input value difference of voice which is inputted from the voice input device selected by the selection section, from voice which is inputted from the voice input device other than the selected voice input device. A determination section determines whether the difference of the input value which is calculated by the calculation section for the predetermined frequency exceeds a threshold, for each predetermined frequency. A suppression section suppresses a component of the predetermined frequency, in which it is determined that the difference of the input value is the predetermined threshold or less, by the determination section, from frequencies included in voice which is inputted from the voice input device selected by the selection section.
