Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook lock usable for both a sliding door and a hinged door and easily designable for installation. SOLUTION: This hook lock 1 includes a case 2, a hook piece 3, a trigger 7, a trigger support member 8, a spring 9, a link member 10, a lever member 11, an attitude support member 12, a slider 13, and a lock part 53. The hook lock 1 links the members so that the hook piece 3 projects from the case 2 when the trigger 7 retreats to the case 2, has an area in which the trigger 7 can retreat and project independently, and has a time before the movement of the trigger 7 is interlocked with the movement of the hook piece 3. Since the hook piece 3 requires a time before projection, the design of the peripheral members can be facilitated when the hook lock is used for a hinged door (wing door).
