Abstract: PURPOSE: An intersection signal violation enforcement system and method are provided to effectively control an intersection signal violation vehicle by determining the signal violation of the vehicle based on a traffic signal and a sensing signal of a sensor. CONSTITUTION: A traffic light controller(110) controls the operation of each traffic light by applying a traffic signal to each intersection traffic light. A sensor(120) is installed on an intersection vehicle detecting area. The sensor detects a vehicle passing through the vehicle detecting area. A signal violation determination unit determines the signal violation of the vehicle.
