Abstract: PURPOSE: A cosmetic pack composition is provided to remove contaminated heavy metal and skin dead cell and to ensure moisturization. CONSTITUTION: A pack composition containing brown algae powder contains 1-12 weight% of brown algae powder, 1-3 weight% of ascorbic acid, and remaining amount of pack base. The brown algae powder is prepared from brown algae or brown algae extract. The composition further contains 1-9 weight% of herb powder and 0.1-6 weight% of Arabic gum. The pack base contains 5.1-16.5 weight% of glycerin, 1-9.5 weight% of starch, 1-2.4 weight% of sodium dodecylsulfate, 1-9.4 weight% of titanium oxide(TiO_2), 46-94 weight% of purified water, 0.2-4.7 weight% of ethanol, 0.2-0.5 weight% of pigment, 0.1-0.4 weight% of methyl paraben, and 0.1-0.4 weight% of phenoxy ethanol.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of brown algae powder, the brown algae powder manufactured therefrom, a soap composition including thereof, and cosmetic soap including the soap composition are provided to secure an excellent moisturizing effect and to prevent the skin aging. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of brown algae powder for a cosmetic composition comprises the following steps: removing the salinity from brown algae; drying the brown algae to reduce water content to less than 10%; heat-extracting the dried brown algae; freeze-drying the extract residue from the previous step; and crushing the freeze-dried product. The heat-extracting process is performed by adding 700~1,200 parts of alcohol by weight and 2~7 parts of hydrogen peroxide solution by weight to 100 parts of brown algae by weight.
