PURPOSE: A black pigment and a resin composition for sun-blocking member for light-shielding member including thereof are provided to uniformly absorb light within visible light wavelength. CONSTITUTION: A black pigment includes a compound having a part which is represented by chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, Ar1 and Ar2 respectively and independently indicate substituted or non-substituted C6-C20 aryl group, substituted or non-substituted C7-C20 arylalkyl group, and C2-C20 heteroaryl group, a combination thereof. The compound having a part represented by the chemical formula 1 absorbs light within whole range of visible wavelength. In the visible ray total range of 400-700 nm, "the compound having the part expressed in the chemical formula 1" absorbs the light. The resin composition for light-shielding member comprises black pigment, polymerizable compound, and a binder.
