Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for managing goods by using RFID and a control method thereof are provided to calculate price of goods passing a gate in which a scanning reader is mounted, thereby easily constructing a system. CONSTITUTION: An RFID tag reader(100) transmits a scanning signal of a beam pattern through an antenna. The RFID tag reader receives an RFID signal entering a beam area to process RFID information. A payment device(30) processes price information included in the RFID information to calculate price to pay. A central server(10) manages payment detail information.
