Abstract: PURPOSE: A 3D meibomian gland imaging method using optical coherence tomography is provided to prevent a dazzling phenomenon by photographing a meibomian gland under a tarsal conjunctiva at high speed. CONSTITUTION: Unnecessary signals and noises of an air region and an object region are removed in an optical coherence tomography image(S1). A boundary of a region corresponding to a conjunctiva surface of the object region is extracted(S2). An empty image corresponding to the air region is removed. The conjunctiva surface is flattened(S3). A meibomian gland region is extracted by removing a conjunctiva image(S4).
