Abstract: PURPOSE: A medicine delivering film for treating ophthalmology disease is provided, thereby slowly and continuously releasing medicines due to biodegradable chitosan, maintaining sufficient hardness and transparency due to glycerol, and having no toxicity, so that it can be useful for treatment of ophthalmology disease. CONSTITUTION: The medicine delivering film for treating ophthalmology disease comprises transparent medicines for treating ophthalmology disease within the medicine delivering film composed of a mixture of chitosan and glycerol in a weight ratio of 1:0.2 to 1:1.2, wherein the medicine for treating ophthalmology disease inhibits the growth of or kills human lens epithelial B-3 cell. The method for preparing the medicine delivering film for treating ophthalmology disease comprises the steps of: mixing a mixture of chitosan and glycerol in a weight ratio of 1:0.2 to 1:1.2 with an effective amount of transparent medicines for treating ophthalmology disease, and casting the mixture; and drying the casted mixture.
