Abstract: 본 발명은 오디에서 추출한 수용성 다당을 유효 성분으로 함유하는 면역증강용 약학적 조성물 및 건강기능식품을 제공한다. 예시적으로 본 발명은 오디의 에탄올 추출물로부터 얻어진 수용성 다당(JS-MP-1)의 성분과 구조를 분석하여 신규한 다당을 분리, 정제하였으며, 이를 이용한 마우스의 대식세포에 대하여 IL-6, TNF-a, COX-2, iNOS 증가 효과를 확인함으로써 신규 오디 다당류의 면역 증강제로서의 응용성을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 발명에 따라 그 생리적 활성이 확인된 다당을 유효성분으로 함유하여 면역증강용의 약품이나 건강기능식품 등으로 활용될 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A Korean mulberry-derived polysaccharide which enhances immunity, and a pharmacological composition containing the same are provided to enhance immunity without cytotoxicity, and to be used as a material for pharmaceutical products, functional foods, and functional cosmetic products. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for enhancing immunity contains polysaccharides including: a main chain including basic skeleton of methyl group-conjugated alpha-1,4-galacturonic acid and alpha-1,2-rhamnose; and a side chain including 5-linked alpha-arabinose, 4-linked beta-galactan, and arabinogalactan. The polysaccharide is derived from Morus spp. using ethanol. The pharmaceutical composition contains rhamnose, arabinose, galactose, and galacturonic acid as monosaccharides forming the polysaccharides. The polysaccharide enhances expression of IL-6 and TNF-alpha.
