Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a ferrite submicron particle is provided to control the sizes of an outer shape particle and a characteristic determination particle by controlling the magnetic characteristics of the particles. CONSTITUTION: Hydrothermal synthesis is performed using a metal precursor, an outer shape particle size controlling agent and solution. The solution includes sodium acetate. The metal precursor is selected from an iron precursor, a cobalt precursor, a nickel precursor, a zinc precursor, and a manganese precursor. The metal precursor is one kind or more kinds of a compound of the precursors. The outer shape particle size controlling agent is one kind or two kinds selected from a group comprising ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol.
