Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for measuring the loss and the erosion of floating materials is provided to measure the erosion and the deposition of the ground surface or sea surface and to measure a moving direction of the floating materials with a measurement unit. CONSTITUTION: A device (1) for measuring the loss and the erosion of floating materials includes a supporter (10), a supporting unit (20), and a measurement unit (40). The supporter includes a plurality of first supporters (21) joined to the supporter to be movable; and a second supporter joined to the first supporters. The measurement unit is installed on the supporting unit and has an inlet. The first supporters are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the supporter. The second supporter is joined to one selected from the arranged first supporters. A fluid and the floating materials included in the fluid are supplied inside the measurement unit via the inlet. The supplied fluid penetrates through the measurement unit, and only the floating materials remain inside the measurement unit.

Abstract: A longshore current observation device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an outer casing to be set afloat on the sea and filled with a first lubrication liquid therein; an inner casing arranged inside the outer casing and provided to be afloat on the first lubrication liquid; an observation module provided to be afloat on second lubrication liquid filled in the inner casing; and a weight coupled to the bottom surface of the observation module and enabling the observation module to face upwards. Therefore, according to the present invention, the observation module is provided to be afloat on the second lubrication liquid filled in the inner casing of a dual spherical structure, in which the inner casing is arranged inside the outer casing, and includes a GPS receiver to which the location coordinates are inputted from a GPS satellite. Therefore, the observation module can carry out analysis on the basis of precise location coordinates, thereby accurately observing the motion of longshore current.
