Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing canine heart diseases using NCX-1 gene is provided to research NCX-1(sodium-calcium exchanger-1) gene expression and determine progress of heart failure. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing canine heart disease comprises: a step of collecting peripheral blood from a dog and isolating RNA from the blood; a step of synthesizing cDNA; a step of making primer referring to canine NCX-1 gene sequence; a step of mixing cDNA with the primer, performing real-time PCR, and measuring expression degree of NCX-1 gene; and a step of determining the degree of the heart failure.

Abstract translation: 目的：利用NCX-1基因诊断犬心脏病的方法，研究NCX-1（钠 - 钙交换-1）基因表达，并确定心力衰竭的进展。 构成：用于诊断犬心脏病的方法包括：从狗收集外周血并从血液中分离RNA的步骤; 合成cDNA的步骤; 使引物参考犬NCX-1基因序列的步骤; 将cDNA与引物混合，进行实时PCR，测定NCX-1基因的表达程度; 以及确定心力衰竭程度的步骤。
