Abstract: PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing Sorghum bicolor extract for preventing or treating cancer is provided to be used in a pharmaceutical composition or functional foods. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer contains Sorghum bicolor extract as an active ingredient. The extract is an hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction, butanol fraction, or water fraction which is prepared by fractioning Sorghum bicolor crude extract with hexane, ethyl acetate, butanol, and water.
