Abstract: An artificial fishing reef of plant concrete using low-grade iron ore is provided to utilize resources by using low-grade iron ore of an abandoned mine as aggregates and to increase the dead load thereof. A spherical fishing reef body(1) of an artificial fishing reef of plane concrete using low-grade iron ore is formed by using a forming material to have an opening portion(11) on a part of a bottom portion thereof. Low-grade iron ore, water, cement, a water reducing agent and admixture are mixed to form the forming agent. On the circumference of the fishing reef body, several fish entrance holes(12) are formed. Numberless pores for habitation of seaweeds(13) are integrally formed on the fishing reef itself. The pores for habitation of seaweeds are varied according to the mixing ratio of various mixtures.
