    Abstract: The present invention relates to an anodizing device which electrochemically oxides metal by applying a voltage, inside an electrolyte, to a counter electrode of a cathode and a workpiece of an anode which is made of aluminum and rotated at a constant speed so as to form a nanostructure on the surface of the workpiece and, more specifically, to an aluminum anodizing device which forms an oxidation film on the surface of a tube type workpiece made of aluminum by anodizing the workpiece inside an electrolyte and which includes a tube-shaped workpiece positioned on an anode; a counter electrode which is arranged on a cathode; a power supplying unit which applies a constant voltage between the anode and the cathode; a water tub which is filled with the electrolyte and where metal and the counter electrode are dipped; a cooling unit where a cooling medium is circulated for controlling the temperature of the electrolyte contained inside the water tub; and a rotating unit which rotates the workpiece.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A rotary anodic oxidation device and a method thereof are provided to form a nanostructure in a short time using high voltages as metal material is circulated enough to offset an exothermic reaction generated by an oxidation reaction under a condition of high voltages through rotation. CONSTITUTION: A rotary anodic oxidation device comprises an object(110), a counter electrode(120), a power supply unit(130), a water tank(140), a cooling unit, a rotating unit(160). The object is positioned in a positive electrode. The counter electrode is positioned in a negative electrode. The power supply unit applies a constant voltage between the positive and negative electrodes. Electrolyte solution is filled in the water tank. Metal and the counter electrode are dipped into the electrolyte solution. The cooling unit makes a cooling medium circulate to the outside of the water tank for controlling the temperature of the electrolyte solution. The rotating unit rotates a workpiece.
