    Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of high-purity manganese sulfate is provided to manufacture high-purity manganese sulfate economically with a simple process by filtering impurities several times by a repeated purification process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of high-purity manganese sulfate comprises the following steps: (a) mixing and heating raw materials containing manganese sulfate and a reducing agent containing carbonaceous material, and obtaining the reduced raw material; (b) mixing the reduced raw material and the sulfuric acid, and separating first leachate containing the manganese sulfate and first residue; (c) neutralizing the first leachate; (d) precipitating second residue from the neutralized first leachate, and obtaining second leachate containing the manganese sulfate; (e) educing a first manganese sulfate hydrate by concentrating the first leachate, and separating first waste water; (f) collecting the second manganese sulfate hydrate by concentrating the first waste water, and separating second waste water; and (g) collecting manganese hydroxide by adding alkali material to the second waste water. The step (e) is repeated by re-educing the first manganese sulfate hydrate by mixing the educed first manganese sulfate hydrate with pure water and re-concentrating the result.
