Abstract:
PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of porous silicon compound is provided to have excellent electric conductivity, and to improve the life time property of la lithium secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of porous silicon compound in chemical formula 1: M_ySi comprises: a step of manufacturing a silicon alloy in chemical formula 2: M'_xSi; and a step of etching the silicon alloy. In chemical formula 1, M comprises at least one element among the atoms of family 1 - family 16, y is 0.001-0.4. In chemical formula 2, M' comprises at least one element among the atoms of family 1 - family 16, x is 0.01-1.0.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A lithium secondary battery with improved lifetime by suppressing the volume change of a negative electrode active material. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode active material(1) for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a core(2) which comprises a porous silicon particle or a porous silicon-based compound particle; and a coating layer which surrounds the core. The coating layer comprises a carbon particle(3); and amorphous carbon or low crystalline carbon(4) which binds the carbon particle. The core has an average porous size of 2nm-3microns, a porosity of 2-90 volume%, and an average particle size of 0.3-30 microns.
