Abstract: Mineral premix for livestock feed with its iron content controlled, and livestock feed containing it are provided to enhance the productivity of livestock even without adding supplementary iron to the feed. Mineral premix for livestock feed comprises iron at a level of 0~10000mg/kg. The mineral premix further comprises albumin tannate is added at a level of 1~500000mg/kg to the mineral premix. The albumin tannate drops the absorption rate of oversupplied iron such as limestone, monocalcium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate, and tricalcium phosphate. Livestock feed comprises 0.05~0.3wt% of the mineral premix with its iron content controlled, based on the total weight of the feed.
