Abstract:
The present invention relates to a Salmonella typhimurium strain of which a part of a rfaH gene is deficient and a vaccine composition for preventing food poisoning using the same. The present invention provides an attenuated Salmonella typhimurium strain of which a part of the rfaH gene, which is a transcription regulator, is deleted, so that infectivity, intracellular survival rate, human serum resistance, and swarming motility of the Salmonella typhimurium strain are reduced and vulnerability to anti-microbial peptides is increased, and such Salmonella typhimurium strain can be effectively used as a vaccine for preventing and treating food poisoning of various livestock products.
