Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of granulating natural zeolite using portland cement is provided for use in precipitating and adsorbing heavy metals included in waste water. CONSTITUTION: A method of granulating natural zeolite using portland cement comprises the following steps of: mixing 70-80wt% of natural zeolite and 20-30wt% of portland cement to prepare a mixture(S1); adding water to the mixture to mold it into zeolite granules(S2); curing the molded zeolite granules(S3); and heat-treating the zeolite granules at the temperature of 400°C or higher(S4).
