Abstract: 본 발명은 1/4크기의 슬롯 초광대역 안테나 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 안테나는 기판상에 장축의 반지름과 단축의 반지름을 갖는 타원형의 슬롯과 슬롯에 비해 상대적으로 작은 반지름을 갖는 원형의 패치를 슬롯에 대응하는 부분에 상기 접지와 간격을 두고 배치하되, 테이퍼진 급전선의 끝단에 패치를 형성할 때 패치와 슬롯간에 갭을 갖도록 하여 초광대역의 주파수 대역을 얻는 초광대역 안테나에 있어서, 타원형 슬롯의 수직방향의 완전자계벽을 중심으로 대칭면을 수직컷하여 제1 개방면을 형성하고, 상기 타원형 슬롯의 수평방향의 근사적 자계벽을 중심으로 대칭면을 수평컷하여 제2 개방면을 형성하여 상기 타원형 슬롯을 4등분한 1/4크기의 슬롯이 형성되도록 하되, 상기 급전선이 상기 제1 개방면에 노출되지 않도록 하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서, 본 발명의 안테나는 초소형이어서 장치의 소형화를 이룰 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An ultra wideband antenna and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture an subminiature antenna while satisfying the ultra wideband frequency band by using the symmetry plane of the antenna with symmetrical round shaped structure and a PMW(Perfect Magnetic Wall) of the symmetry plane. CONSTITUTION: An ellipse shaped slot is arranged in a ground(22). A circular patch which has smaller radius than the slot(21) in the other side of a substrate is asymmetrically arranged with the slot. The frequency band of an ultra wideband is obtained in order to have a gap between the patch and the slot when the patch is formed in the end terminal of a tapered feeder(23). A first open side is formed by vertically cutting a symmetry plane by centering a vertical directional PMW of the ellipse shaped slot. A semicircular shape patch(24) is formed by dividing the circular patch into two equal parts.
