Abstract: PURPOSE: A segment display combined with a driving unit is provided to display numbers or characters using the minimum power in case the segment is changed. CONSTITUTION: A driving unit(20) is combined in the segment(30) for the display of the number or the character. The key signal for the operation of the driving unit is inputted to the input unit(10). An optical sensor(50) recognizes the intensity of the external light. The optical sensor changes the light to electric signal. The brightness of the lighting unit(40) is controlled by the optical sensor. The lighting unit lights the front side of the segment. A controller(60) controls the element. A segment display is connected in the computer terminal in parallel or serial data transmission mode.

Abstract: 본 발명은 계량기 자동 검침 시스템에 관한 것으로, 특히 전기, 수도, 가스 등의 사용량 검침원이 가정이나 건물 등의 현관문 앞에 구비된 사용량 표시 장치의 스위치를 누르게 되면 가정이나 건물 내 사람의 존재 여부 및 사용량 기재 여부에 무관하게 전기, 수도, 가스 등의 당월 지침(당월까지의 사용 누적량)을 실외(예로서, 대문, 현관문 앞 등)에서 실시간으로 확인할 수 있는 계량기 자동 검침 시스템을 제공하고자 한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic meter reading system is provided to remove the necessity for a meterman to directly visit to a home or building. CONSTITUTION: A control device(20) photographs a number display unit of a meter(10) according to a used-amount data request signal from a used-amount display unit, and transmits the used-amount data obtained through digit analyzing to the used-amount display unit based on the wireless communication method. The control device is mounted in the meter. The used-amount display unit sends the used-amount data request signal to the control device through a bidirectional RF communication module(32).
