    Abstract: PURPOSE: A chainless bicycle having an auxiliary power actuated by a tilt sensor is provided to deliver power of pedal rotation without a chain, and to facilitate friction reduction and accurate power delivery by using roller gears as a power delivery device. CONSTITUTION: A chainless bicycle having an auxiliary power actuated by a tilt sensor comprises a tilt sensor, an electric motor(300), a battery, and a control device. The tilt sensor is installed in one side of a bicycle frame to measure inclination of the bicycle. The electric motor provides rotating force to a pedal shaft. The battery supplies power to the electric motor. The control device selectively controls operation of the electric motor according to inclination of the bicycle detecting in the tilt sensor.
