Abstract: 본 발명은 전동모터가 구비된 전동 자전거에 기울기 센서를 장착하여 자전거의 기울기를 파악하고 기울기가 기준값보다 큰 경우 전동모터를 구동시키고 기울기가 기준값보다 작은 경우 전동모터의 동작을 정지시킬 수 있도록 하는 기울기 센서가 구비된 전동 자전거에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 기울기 센서가 구비된 전동 자전거는 전동모터를 보조동력으로 사용하는 전동 자전거에 있어서, 상기 자전거 프레임(30) 일측에 설치되어 자전거의 기울기를 측정하는 기울기 센서(200)와; 상기 자전거 프레임(30) 일측에 설치되어, 뒷바퀴 구동축(61)에 결합되어 뒷바퀴(20)를 회전시키는 모터용 스프라켓(500)과 체인(510)을 통하여 연결되어 모터용 스프라켓(500)에 회전력을 전달하는 전동모터(300)와; 상기 전동모터(300)에 구동 전원을 공급하는 배터리(400)와; 상기 기울기 센서(200)를 통하여 측정되는 자전거 기울기에 따라 전동모터(300)의 동작을 제어하는 제어부(100);를 포함하여 이루어져, 자전거 운전자의 힘을 덜어 줄 수 있으며, 언덕길에서만 전동모터를 구동하여 배터리의 전력 소모를 최소화할 수 있게 된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric bicycle with a tilt sensor, which can drive an electric motor in a sloping road, is provided to reduce battery power by stop an electric motor when a slope of an incline is lower than a standard. CONSTITUTION: An electric bicycle with a tilt sensor comprises an electric motor(300), a battery(400) and a controller(100). A tilt sensor(200) measures a slope of a bicycle. The electric motor is connected through a motor sprocket(500) and a chain. The electric motor transfers the torque to the motor sprocket. The motor sprocket is combined in the rear wheel driving shaft and rotates a rear wheel. The battery supplies the drive power to the electric motor. The controller controls the operation of the electric motor by the bicycle slope measured through the tilt sensor.
