Abstract: The present invention relates to a SSR primer set for discriminating corn variety of oryunpopcorn including one or more SSR primer sets selected from a group consisting of 24 SSR primer sets; a kit for discriminating corn variety of discriminating corn variety of oryunpopcorn including the SSR primer set; and a method for discriminating corn variety of oryunpopcorn by using the SSR primer set. The specific SSR marker of the present invention not only can effectively distinguish variety of oryunpopcorn, protect variety, and test purity of the first filial generation, but also can provide information in molecular plant breeding of corn which can improve preference of a consumer by providing deep fry corn.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an SSR primer set including one or more SSR primer sets selected from the group consisting of thirty-eight SSR primer sets for discriminating the cultivars of Arichal waxy corns, a kit including the SSR primer sets for discriminating the cultivars of Arichal waxy corns, and a method for discriminating the cultivars of Arichal waxy corns using the SSR primer sets. Specific SSR markers of the present invention enable cultivar discrimination, cultivar protection, and single cross purity inspection of Arichal waxy corns. Also, tastes can be improved so that the Arichal waxy corns can be more favored by customers, and useful information can be provided for a molecular breeding research of waxy corns.
