Abstract: A system and a method for providing AD(ADvertisement) on the Internet based on contents provision are provided to promote an AD website while corresponding to a contents use intention of an Internet user by attaching an HTML(HyperText Markup Language) code of each contents to a desired webpage and offering rewards to the Internet user attaching the contents to a homepage. An operator server(100) receives contents from a provider computer(200), receives AD website information from an advertiser computer(300), and provides AD corresponding to contents use by receiving a webpage attached with an HTML code of the contents from a propagator computer(400). The provider computer transceives information related to the contents and payment condition with the operator server. The advertiser computer transceives the information related to the advertised website and AD payment condition with the operator server. The propagator computer transceives the information related to a webpage of a propagator, the HTML code, and the payment condition according to contents use of general Internet users with the operator server.
