Abstract: PURPOSE: A monofilament type ramie raw yarn and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent thread breakage and be applied to a mechanized weaving method. CONSTITUTION: A ramie raw yarn(12) is uniformly supplied to the inside of a hydrophilic polymer resin liquid tank through a separator of ramie raw yarn supply part(15). A ramie yarn is dip-coated with a hydrophilic polymer resin(18) inside a resin solution tank with a pick-up roller. A coating film of the hydrophilic polymer resin is formed using a heat-processing method with a drier. The hydrophilic polymer resin is polyvinyl alcohol or carboxymethylcellulose. The hydrophilic polymer resin weight compared to the ramie raw yarn is 60 or 80%.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A wide ramie textile manufacturing method is provided to improve productivity with the mechanized weaving technology of a new type monofilament type ramie raw yarn. CONSTITUTION: A monofilament-type ramie textile where a hydrophilic polymer resin is coated is delivered from a textile beam(10) and is supplied to the inside of a resin removing tank(15) through a guide roller(14). The resin of fabric is uniformly removed with a pick-up roller(17) inside a resin removal tank where a resin removal solution is included. The fabric is transferred through the pick-up roller to the tenter(19). The fabric is contracted and dried through a thermal process. The dried and contracted fabric is wound with a take-up roller(20).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A dimensionally stable product of a ramie fiber is provided to maintain the intrinsic property of a ramie and process to satisfy the dimensional stability, flexibility, dyeability and convenience of ironing. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a dimensionally stable product of a ramie fiber comprises: a step of pre-treating by using moisture-penetration agent; a step of mercerization by using ammonia liquid at low temperature; and a step of special softening treatment. The special softening treatment use a treating liquid consist of 30-40 parts by weight arkofix NDL, a 10-15 parts by weight catalyst NKS, a 30-40 parts by weight sandoperm MEW, and a parts by weight velustrol P-40 comparison to 1000 parts by weight water. In the special softening treatment, the fabric is dried with maintaining the pickup rats of a ramie immersed by a special softening treatment compound over 75% at 110-150°C and curing at 140-180°C for 60 seconds.
