Abstract: A Cudrania tricuspidata extract for anti-oxidation is provided to improve the anti-oxidation effect of DPPH radical, ABTS radical, hydroxyl radical and unsaturated fatty acid. A composition for anti-oxidataion of food and feed comprises a Cudrania tricuspidata extract. A method for producing the Cudrania tricuspidata extract comprises: a step of drying a Cudrania tricuspidata and extracting with non-polar solvent; and a step of compression-extracting the extract to produce a soluble extract. A method for extracting is hot water extracting, reflux condensing, and sonication extraction. The non-polar solvent is hexane, chloroform, ethylacetate or its mixture solvent. The composition for anti-oxidation of food and feed comprises a 1,3,6,7-tetrahydroxy-2,8-diprenyl xanthone compound of the chemical formula 1 or its pharmaceutically allowable salt as a active ingredient.
