Abstract: PURPOSE: A grass-clippings crushing device is provided to have a two stage roller structure consisting of rollers which have different rotational speeds and an adjustable gap between each other, thereby finely crushing fibers of grass clippings. CONSTITUTION: A grass-clippings crushing device comprises a driving source(20), a power transmission unit, a housing(10), a first roller unit, and a second roller unit. The housing has a hopper(11) into which grass clippings are put. The first roller unit is rotatably installed in the housing, and composed of a pair of rollers which rotate at different speeds by a power provided by the power transmission unit. A helical groove is formed on the circumferential surface of at least one between the pair of rollers. The second roller unit comprises a pair of rollers which rotate at different speeds by a power provided by the power transmission unit, and which re-crushes the grass clippings crushed by the first roller unit.
