Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing melibe essential oil is provided to ensure high antioxidation and anti-inflammation and to be used as an ingredient for a functional cosmeic and pharmaceutical products. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing melibe essential oil comprises: a step of adding melibe to a homogenizer; a step of adding 1-5 times of mixture solvent(1:1, v/v) containing n-pentane and diethyl ether; and a step of crushing at 5,000-15,000 rpm for 3-5 minutes. The extraction solvent is hexane, ethanol, methanol, or chloroform. A cosmetic composition contains 0.000001%-90% of the melibe essential oil extract. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of emulsion, lotion, cream, essential, or emulsion foundation.

Abstract: 본 발명은 해양무척추동물인 멜리베에서 추출한 정유를 유효성분으로 함유하는 항산화 및 염증 질환 예방 효과를 갖는 화장품 및 의약품 원료 제재에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 진주조개 및 굴 양식어장에 공생하고 있는 멜리베로부터 정유 성분을 추출정제하여 항산화 활성과 항염증 효과를 측정한 결과 낮은 농도에서도 높은 항염증 억제효과를 나타내었을 뿐만 아니라 항산화효과를 나타내어 결과적으로는 기능성 화장품 및 의약품의 원료로도 적용가능하다.
