Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for preparing aliphatic dicarbamates is provided to reduce the production of alkylated amine byproducts and to prepare aliphatic dicarbamates from aliphatic diamine and dialkylcarbonate in high yield. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing aliphatic dicarbamates by reacting C2-8 aliphatic diamine with dialkylcarbonate comprises the steps of: (i) synthesizing monocarbamate by reacting the aliphatic diamine with dialkylcarbonate at a low temperature using water or C1-6 alcohol solvent as a reaction accelerator; and (ii) converting the monocarbamate into the dicarbamate at a high temperature.

Abstract:
A method for removing sulfur compounds from hydrocarbons using iron-containing imidazolium-based ionic liquids is provided to simplify a removal process of sulfur compounds, which is hard to remove by conventional processes. A method for removing sulfur compounds from hydrocarbon fraction comprises: a first step of contacting an iron-containing imidazolium-based ionic liquid to hydrocarbon fraction containing sulfur compounds, wherein the iron is represented by the formula 1, such that the ionic liquid is extracted from the hydrocarbon fraction containing sulfur compounds; and a second step of separating into the ionic liquid and hydrocarbon fraction. In the formula 1, n is 1.5~3, R1, R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl group or C1-C6 alkenyl group. A weight ratio of the hydrocarbon fraction to the ionic liquid is 5-20. The extraction is performed at room temperature and normal pressure. The separated ionic liquid can be recycled.

PURPOSE: A method for eliminating a nitrogen compound is provided to efficiently and economically remove an aromatic nitrogen compound using a simple extraction process using imidazole-based ionic liquid containing zinc. CONSTITUTION: A method for eliminating a nitrogen compound from hydrocarbons uses imidazole-based ionic liquid containing zinc which is generated by mixing ZnX_2 with imidazolium alkyl sulfate which is marked as a chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, X is Cl, Br, or I and R1 and R2 are hydrogen or an alkyl group with C1-C10. The nitrogen compound is an aromatic nitrogen compound. A method for eliminating the nitrogen compound from hydrocarbons comprises a step of extracting the nitrogen compound from the hydrocarbons into the ionic liquid by contacting the imidazole-based ionic liquid containing zinc with the hydrocarbons and a step of separating the ionic liquid from the hydrocarbons.
