Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for an optical fiber connector is provided to connect an optical waveguide smaller than a core by forming connector of which shape is a funnel. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for an optical fiber connector, a core(120) is piled up by a cladding(110) having a low refractive index. The core transmits an optical signal, and the one side of a connection part(140) is connected to the core. The other side of the connection unit is connected to the optical devices(130), and the connection unit transmits an optical signal of the core to the optical device. The connection unit is formed as a funnel shape, and an optical antenna(150) is located inside the connection unit.

Abstract: 본 발명은 광섬유 커넥터를 제공하기 위한 것으로, 코어의 굴절률 보다 낮은 굴절률을 갖는 재질로 이루어지고, 상기 코어의 외부를 둘러싸는 클래딩과; 상기 클래딩의 내부에 위치하고, 광신호를 전송하는 코어와; 일측은 상기 코어와 연결되고, 타측은 광디바이스와 연결되어 상기 코어의 광신호를 상기 광디바이스로 전송하도록 깔때기 형으로 구성된 접속부와; 상기 접속부 내에 위치하여 상기 코어의 광신호를 집속하여 상기 광디바이스로 전송되도록 안테나 기능을 수행하는 링을 구비하여 광신호가 전송되도록 하는 광 안테나;를 포함하여 구성함으로서, 깔때기 형으로 접속부를 형성하고 링 구조의 광 안테나를 이용하여 광섬유 커넥터를 구성함으로써, 광신호의 손실을 최소화하여 광섬유에서 파장 단위의 작은 공간에서 직접 코어 보다 작은 크기의 광 도파로에 연결할 수 있게 되는 것이다.
