Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting drowsy driving is provided to prevent drowsy driving of a driver through detects the vital signal of a driver indicating drowsy driving. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for protecting drowsy driving comprises an input unit, a detection unit(120), and an output unit(140). The input unit comprises a cuff body(142) and a sensor(110). The cuff body is installed in the driver's seat(5). The sensor detects the vital signal of a driver(1) transferred through the cuff body. The detection unit judges the sleep of a driver through the detected vital signal. The output unit is operated to transfer signals to a driver according to the judged value of the detection unit.

Abstract translation: 目的：提供一种用于保护困倦驾驶的装置，以通过检测驾驶员的重要信号来指示瞌睡驾驶来防止驾驶员的困倦驾驶。 构成：用于保护困倦驾驶的装置包括输入单元，检测单元（120）和输出单元（140）。 输入单元包括袖带体（142）和传感器（110）。 袖带体安装在驾驶座（5）内。 传感器检测通过袖带体转移的驾驶员（1）的重要信号。 检测单元通过检测到的生命信号判断驾驶员的睡眠。 操作输出单元根据检测单元的判定值将信号传送到驾驶员。

Abstract: 본 발명은 졸음운전 방지장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 졸음운전 방지장치는, 운전석에 장착되는 커프본체, 및 상기 커프본체를 통해 전달되는 운전자의 생체 신호를 감지하는 센서를 포함하는 입력부; 상기 센서에서 계측된 값에 의해 운전자의 수면 여부를 판단하는 검출부; 및 상기 검출부의 판단 값에 따라 운전자에게 신호를 전달하도록 구동되는 출력부를 포함하고, 본 발명에 따른 졸음운전 방지장치를 사용함으로써 운전자가 스스로 졸음운전 상태라는 것을 감지할 수 있고, 졸음운전하는 것을 방지함으로써, 안전사고가 발생하는 것을 예방할 수 있으며, 운전자 본인뿐만 아니라 타 운전자에게도 졸음운전 상태를 알릴 수 있어서 상대방 역시 사고가 발생하는 것을 미연에 방지할 수 있다.
