Abstract: PURPOSE: A superhydrophobic surface structure having the wetting directionality and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove and collect a fluid on the surface of base materials. CONSTITUTION: A superhydrophobic surface structure having the wetting directionality relates to the superhydrophobic surface structure having the wetting directionality in which micro patterns are formed. The micro patterns include a micro hoodoo array in which a plurality of micro hoodoos is uniformly arranged. The micro hoodoo is in the form of a pillar of which a diameter decreases toward the bottom. A head part of each of the micro hoodoos is interconnected with an adjacent micro hoodoo.
