    Abstract: PURPOSE: A yeast transformant with improved bio-ethanol productivity is provided to use in SSF(simulateous saccharification and fermentation) or consolidated bioprocessing. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant vector, p-alpha-EgE-alpha-BG1 comprises a gene encoding Clostridium sp-derived endoglucanase and gene encoding Saccharomycopsis sp.-derived betaglucosidase. A transformant transformed by the recombinant vector, p-alpha-EgE-alpha-BG1. A bio-ethanol is produced by culturing transformed yeast under the presence of substrate. The substrate is starch or fiber.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing yeast transformant with improved bioethanol productivity by introducing Clostridium-derived endoglucanase gene to yeast. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant vector contains a nucleic acid sequence encoding endo-beta-1,4-glucanase of sequence number 1 which is derived from Clostridium cellulovorans and a nucleic acid encoding beta-glucosidae of sequence number 2 which is derived from Saccharomycopsis fibuligera. A transformant(deposit number: KCCM11005P) is prepared by transforming Saccharomyces cerevisiae with the recombinant vector. The transformant is used for producing bioethanol by culture with biomass. The biomass is a cellulose biomass.
