Abstract: An optical attenuator using an optical connector assembled in a field is provided to facilitate the installation without a fusion process by connecting a ferrule with the optical fiber for transmitting an optical signal and the ferrule with the attenuation optical fiber in a sleeve. An attenuation optical fiber(10) is embedded in a first ferrule(41). An optical fiber core(20) is built inside a second ferrule(42). The first and second ferrules are mutually coupled by a sleeve(43). A ferrule unit(40) has a separation preventing member for preventing the core of the optical fiber from being separated from the attenuation optical fiber. A separation preventing unit fixes the optical fiber in an end of the ferrule unit and prevents the core of the optical fiber from the attenuation optical fiber.

본 발명은 콜릿부에 의해 광커넥터에 인입된 광섬유를 고정하기 때문에, 광섬유의 접속을 견고히 할 수가 있으며, 횡방향 외력에도 충분히 견딜 수 있는 효과가 있다. 광커넥터의 작업이 간편하게 이루어지면서도 코어를 정확하게 정렬할 수가 있어 코어의 접속시 발생되는 광손실을 방지할 수가 있는 효과가 있다.

Abstract: An optical connector for assembling in field capable of accurately arranging core is provided to solidify connection of optical fiber by fixing the optical fiber coming in an optical connector using a collet part. A first unit comprises a housing(110), a frame(120), and a fixing member(330). The frame is positioned inside the housing. The fixing member is installed in the frame. A part of a ferrule unit is inserted in the fixing member. A core of optical fiber is inserted in the ferrule unit. An optical fiber clamping member is installed in an end of the ferrule unit, and pressurizes an outer circumference of the optical fiber. A second unit is coupled with the fixing member, and fixes the ferrule unit and the optical fiber clamping member.

CONSTITUTION: A first unit(100) includes a housing, a plug, and a fixing unit. The plug is rotatably inserted into the housing.
