Abstract: A method for determining the transmission power in a wireless network according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: finding out a maximum degree by generating an interference graph based on current transmission power; comparing the maximum degree with the number of available channels in a wireless network; and repeatedly finding out the maximum degree of increase of the current transmission power by a predetermined amount and comparing the maximum degree with the number of available channels in the wireless network until reaching a predetermined threshold state. According to the present invention, optimal transmission power can be found out in a wireless network, interference effect can be avoided as much as possible in a communication environment, the hourly throughput of a transmission signal can be enhanced, and throughput performance can be improved. In particular, if there are a lot of communication nodes, throughput performance can be expected to be further improved.
