    Abstract: A thermal switch is provided to increase the amount of heat transmission by performing heat transmission in a high temperature part and a low temperature part by exposing a heat transmission fluid to the outside through a switching channel. A thermal switch(100) includes a main panel(110), a groove-shaped fluid storage channel(120), a groove-shaped switching channel(130), and an air discharge channel(140). The groove-shaped fluid storage channel is provided on a bottom surface of the main panel. A heat transmission fluid is stored in and is supplied to the groove-shaped fluid storage channel. The groove-shaped switching channel is positioned to be in communication with an upper part of the fluid storage channel and is separated from the fluid storage channel by a projection portion(132). The switching channel is provided on a top surface of the main panel. The air discharge channel is positioned adjacent to the switching channel and serves as an air discharge passage. The thermal switch controls heat transmission between a heat source and a heat sink by adjusting a water level of the heat transmission fluid.

    Abstract: A thermal switch is provided to control a temperature accurately by thermally separating a high temperature part and a low temperature part from each other to reduce an influence according to a heat capacity of a high temperature part. A thermal switch includes a main panel(102), a tunnel(104), an air discharge groove(106), and a fluid storing groove(108). The tunnel penetrates a top surface and a bottom surface of the main panel. The air discharge groove is prepared on the top surface of the main panel and is connected to one upper end of the tunnel. The fluid storing groove is positioned in a lower portion of the tunnel and stores a heat transfer fluid. The thermal switch adjusts a height of the heat transfer fluid in the tunnel to control heat transfer between a heat source and a heat sink. The height of the heat transfer fluid in the tunnel is adjusted by an expansion body(110) which is prepared in the fluid storing groove.
