Abstract: PURPOSE: A clamping device for connecting a hose to a connector is provided to prevent a water leakage by uniformly and firmly clamping the outer circumference of the connector. CONSTITUTION: A clamping device is composed of a housing(10), a jaw guiding disk fixed to one side of the housing and having a connector hole and a plurality of jaw guiding grooves(24) radially arranged on the connector hole, a rotary cam interposed between the inner circumference of the housing and the outer circumference of the jaw guiding disk, a plurality of jaws(50), and a drive unit for rotating the rotary cam. The jaws are slidably inserted into the jaw guiding grooves, and are supported on the rotary cam by a return spring(40). The jaws are guided into an incline(31b) of a cam groove(31) and move to the center of the rotary cam when the rotary cam rotates.
