Abstract: 본 발명은 TMAP(Tumor associated microtubule associated protein)/CKAP2(cytoskeleton associated protein 2)에 특이적으로 결합하는 단일클론항체 또는 이들의 단편 및 이들을 이용하여 유사분열 유무를 확인하는 방법 및 암을 진단하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An antibody which specifically binds to TMAP(Tumor associated microtubule associated protein)/CKAP2(cytoskeleton associated protein 2) is provided to identify cell division cycle and to diagnose cancer. CONSTITUTION: A composition for diagnosing cancer prognosis contains anti-TMAP/CKAP2 antibody or epitope thereof. The composition is used for measuring mitosis of cells. The cancer is breast cancer or gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST). A kit for diagnosing cancer predict contains anti-TMAP/CKAP2 antibody or epitope. The kit is used for predicting disease-free survival rate or survival rate. A method for providing information for diagnosing cancer comprises: a step of treating anti-TMAP/CKAP2 or epitope to a sample isolated from a test individual; a step of comparing antibody-antigen reaction level; and a step of determining cancer with bad prognosis in case of high antibody-antigen reaction level.

Abstract: A monoclonal antibody which specifically binds to TMAP/CKAP2 or a fragment containing its epitope is provided to study the act of TMAP/CKAP2 and diagnose cancer. A monoclonal antibody or a fragment containing its epitope specifically binds to TMAP (Tumor associated microtubule associated protein)/CKAP2 (cytoskeleton associated protein 2). The TMAP/CKAP2 is not phosphorylated. The monoclonal antibody binds to the C-terminal (458th to 682th amino acid sequence) of TMAP/CKAP2. A method for producing the monoclonal antibody comprises: a step of immunizing TMAP/CKAP2 to animal not human; and a step of producing hydridoma using animal cells and myeloma cell.
