    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for molding a sealed knuckle for an antiroll bar of a high-speed railroad is provided to minimize friction between contact surfaces around a bearing without directly spreading lubricant, and to have a tolerance against external force which is repetitively applied to materials when heavy load is applied. CONSTITUTION: A method for molding a sealed knuckle for an antiroll bar of a high-speed railroad is as follows. In order to mount a liner on a housing, adhesives are sprayed on the inner diameter of the housing of which the middle part of the outer diameter is recessed and the liner and the liner is inserted into the housing(S-1). A bearing sphere is inserted into the inner diameter where the liner is inserted to cover the exterior of the bearing sphere(S-2). A molded object in which the liner and the bearing sphere are inserted in the housing is coupled to an upper mold after inserting into a lower mold in order to mount on a press(S-3). If a flange of the upper mold mounted on the press presses an attached base surface, the bearing sphere is moved down and the lower end of the bearing sphere is contacted with the lower mold. The molded object mounting on the lower mold presses multiple cylinder pins to the circumference surface. If the cylinder pins presses the circumference surface from the outside to the inside, the outer surface of the housing is pressed so that a bearing surface between the housing and the bearing sphere is integrally molded(S-4). The molded object is mechanically processed in consideration of processing dimension or whether or not to have defect by measuring the exterior of the molded object(S-5).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Tool steel for a steel cutting knife is provided to ensure improved impact toughness, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance by having smaller crystal grains than a vanadium-based alloy. CONSTITUTION: Tool steel for a steel cutting knife comprises 0.45-0.6 wt% of C, 4.5-6.0 wt% of Cr, 0.5-2.0 wt% of Mo, 0.5-3.0 wt% of Ni, 0.5-1.5 w.% of V, 0.2-1.5 wt% of Si, 0.1-0.5 wt% of Mn, 0.01-0.03 wt% of Ti, and a remaining amount of Fe. The tool steel has a tempered martensite structure as main matrix, first coarse particles which do not decomposed during melting and cooling, and second fine particles which precipitated in heat treatment.

CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a sealed knuckle for an antiroll bar of a high speed railroad is as follows. A ball bearing is manufactured by using a tool steel. The ball bearing is chrome-plated and the plated ball bearing is polished. A housing is manufactured by using the tool steel. A liner in which Teflon is spread in a fabric is manufactured and is attached to the housing. After assembling the ball bearing and the housing, both are tightly molded by using a press. The assembled sealed knuckle is final-processed to be fit into the numerical value. Rubber sealings are attached to both sides of the sealed knuckle.
