Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-speed link switching method of an LED communication system capable of performing link switching at high speed by allowing an LED-ID system to determine whether to perform link switching in advance according to a moving trajectory of an LED-ID reader. The high-speed link switching method of an LED communication system including a plurality of LED-ID tags and LED-ID readers, which transmit and receive data using visible rays, according to the present invention comprises: a first step for allowing a location server to generate a link switching table to store link switching probability between LED-ID tags according to a moving trajectory of an LED-ID reader, based on location information transmitted from the LED-ID reader at constant intervals; a second step for allowing the location server to determine whether the moving trajectory of the LED-ID reader exists on the link switching table, based on the location information received from the LED-ID reader, if a link switching request is received from the LED-ID reader; a third step for allowing the location server to extract a target LED-ID tag, to which a new link is to be connected, using the link switching probability between the LED-ID tags according to the moving trajectory of the LED-ID reader stored in the link switching table and transmit the extracted target LED-ID tag to the LED-ID reader, if the moving trajectory of the LED-ID reader exists on the link switching table; and a fourth step for allowing the LED-ID reader to block a link connection with a currently linked LED-ID tag and set a new link connection with the extracted target LED-ID tag.
