Abstract: 본 발명은 스마트 단말과 로봇장치를 이용하여 3차원 영상을 제공하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 특히 스마트 단말(예: 스마트폰, 스마트패드)에서 특정인의 얼굴 사진을 찍은 후에 이를 3차원 이미지로 변환하여 로봇장치로 제공하고 로봇장치에서는 동작 과정에서 이러한 3차원 디스플레이를 얼굴 화면으로 절절하게 활용하는 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 네트워크로 연결된 스마트 단말과 로봇장치를 이용하여 3차원 디스플레이를 제공하는 방법은, 스마트 단말이 사진 이미지로부터 얼굴 이미지를 추출하는 제 1 단계; 스마트 단말에서 그 추출된 얼굴 이미지를 이용하여 3차원 얼굴 영상을 생성하는 제 2 단계; 스마트 단말이 그 생성된 3차원 영상을 로봇장치의 얼굴 화면으로 사용할 수 있도록 외부의 로봇장치로 제공하는 제 3 단계;를 포함하여 구성된다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for providing a 3D image by using a smart terminal and a robot device and a 3D image providing system using the same are provided to supply a 3D image created in the smart terminal by taking a photo with the smart terminal, converting the photo into 3D information, and supplying the converted data to an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: When a user wants communication with a robot device, a control unit of a smart terminal sets a channel with the robot device by controlling a second communication unit of a wireless unit (S402,S404). The control unit extracts face data from an image photographed through a camera unit and converts the data into 3D data (S406). The control unit displays the image, a 3D image, and a selection icon through a screen providing unit (S408). If the user selects a 3D image transmission icon, the control unit transmits the 3D image to the robot device through the channel (S410,S420).
