Abstract: PURPOSE: A micro turbine engine equipped with a generator is provided to protect a generator from high heat by blocking the heat from a combustion chamber using a heat insulting layer or a water jacket. CONSTITUTION: A micro turbine engine comprises a body(10), a turbine(20), a compressor(30), a generator(40) and a heat shield structure(60). The body comprises a combustion chamber(11) and a journal bearing. The turbine is placed in an upper part of the body for an upper part of a shaft to be connected to the turbine. The turbine is operated by the pressure of combustion gas from the combustion chamber. The compressor is placed in a lower part of the body for a lower part of the shaft to be connected to the compressor. The compressor supplies a mixed fuel to the combustion chamber with compressing, mixing the fuel and air. The generator is integrated with the compressor. The heat shield structure prevents the heat of the turbine and the combustion chamber from transferring to the compressor.
