Abstract: A modular storage device given in the present invention is a 2.5"-type storage module (1) modularized with: a rear transition module (RTM) (10) which is connected to a versa module Eurocard (VME) bus (100) and receives power; a first and a second solid state drive (SSD) (20a, 20b) which organizes a pair on the RTM (10) and stores the operational data of a weapon system; an SATA cable (50) which connects the RTM (10) and the SSDs for communication. Accordingly, the back plane structure of a VME-type rack is shared and the mounting space of the rack is efficiently used so that the maintenance accessibility and the efficiency can be significantly enhanced.
