Abstract: PURPOSE: A one-way shock absorber is provided to absorb shock in one way for disturbance happened suddenly and to return to a normal condition to cope with another disturbance once disturbance is absorbed. CONSTITUTION: A one-way shock absorber includes a cylinder(21), a piston assembly(22,23,24), and a spring(25). The cylinder is filled with specific medium. The piston assembly supports an inner wall of the cylinder to be moved according to flow of medium. The piston assembly has different moving speed according to a flow direction of medium. The spring is in the cylinder and supplies repulsive force to the piston assembly to return the piston assembly. The piston assembly has a piston supported to the inner wall of the cylinder and a valve controlling flow of medium according to a moving direction of the piston. The valve is combined to a through portion of the piston. Medium is fluid or gas. Thereby, shock is absorbed in one way against sudden disturbance and the shock absorber is returned rapidly to cope with another disturbance.
