Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermoelectric material. In particular, the present invention relates to a compound for an indium selenide thermoelectric element with high efficiency in which alkali and alkaline earth metal that have lower thermal conductivity and a higher Seebeck coefficient compared to common metal or semiconductors are added. According to the present invention, electrical conductivity is increased by adding alkali and alkaline earth metal to the indium selenide thermoelectric material. Therefore, thermoelectric properties of the material are enhanced.
