Abstract: An apparatus for modulating pulse using a light wave delaying device is provided to form shuttle light transmission paths using passive optical elements(optical simulator and optical mirror), thereby reducing the size of the apparatus and reducing manufacturing cost. An apparatus for modulating pulse using a device for delaying light wave comprises the followings: an optical simulator(10) having an input port for inputting an optical signal, a delay port for delaying the optical signal, and an output port for outputting the optical signal; an optical delay unit(20) having an optical delay unit to be connected to the delay port; a first switch for switching signal input; an optical converter for converting a signal passed through the first switch into an optical signal; a photoelectric converter for recovering an optical signal delayed in the optical delay unit; and a second switch.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A radar signal generation device is provided to generate simulated target signals by calculating effective pulse energy of each burst detected in an azimuth section, to precisely simulate and generate radar environmental signals, and to be suitable for testing the system of an object radar, and the target detecting and tracking performance of a controller and a signal processor. CONSTITUTION: A radar signal generation device includes the following parts: a digital circuit part(200) providing a timing signal to be operated by being synchronized with one reference frequency, generating a simulated target signal, based on a target trigger signal, as a baseband signal, and up-converting the baseband signal into an intermediate frequency band; a noise generation part(400) generating a noise signal; an analogue circuit part(300) adding a noise signal, provided by the noise generation part, to the intermediate frequency signal generated from the digital circuit part, and outputting to the outside; a local display control part(100) to be operated by being synchronized with an external device according to the timing signal of the digital circuit part; and a control part(500) to provide various parameters and flow control commands required for signal generation by receiving and analyzing commands to control the digital circuit part, analogue circuit part, and local display control part by being coupled with an external controller.
